“Health & Wellness Alternative Fashion Week” will be unlike any other fashion week. One hundred percent of the funds raised are for Non-Profit Organizations, and free to the designers that participate.
We invest in fashion innovation and ideas to support Charity. This is fashion on the edge; risky, experimental fashion for the future. It is not about money or material success, but inspiration and ideology. It’s about how to have designer’s fashions in the current financial climate, thrifty & thrilling, offering a world of real opportunities.
Alternative Fashion Week provides that vital stepping stone between the graduate shows and the mainstream fashion industry. All our models come from the Las Vegas community. Professionals and emerging models walk for Fashion For A Cause every year in many different shows.
Health & Wellness Alternative Fashion Week will provide Vegas's wildly explosive alt-fashion scene with a unique departure from more traditional runway shows while supporting Health & Wellness non-profit organizations. This multi-day event boasts over 20 fashion designers, 50 models and 25 hair and make-up artists in a celebration and promotion of unbridled creativity. Health & Wellness Alternative Fashion Week blends music, culture and art into a fully interactive and immersive experience over four nights of fashion experience creating health and wellness awareness.
The first of these events will be from February 18-21, 2014, which will include two major runway events, a bridal runway show, a fashion gallery show, and a hair and make-up fashion exhibition.
Four days, four charities, four spectacular fashion events!
